Fees

Wey Valley's fee structure comprises an annual membership fee and termly training fees. Training fees cover pool hire costs, coaching, and the club's administrative costs. The club is run as a not-for-profit organisation and costs are kept down thanks to the commitment of volunteers and prompt payment of fees - we thank you for this.

Membership fee

Membership Fee £40
The membership fee is payable on joining and then annually in January. It includes Swim England Registration and incorporates all swimmers' and club insurances. This is a mandatory fee payable regardless of the time of year a member joins, or whether they are already registered at another club.

We operate a monthly fee payment system invoiced in arrears. The following is a guide as to the Monthly costs as we work on a cost-recovery basis. For any changes we require at least one full callendar month notice period so that the sessions or membership details can be adjusted. Changes will be made effective from the 1st of each month.

In addition to swimming training, training fees include payment for:

• Entry into competition leagues for the club & cost of running teams at galas
• Entry fees into some of the Club Championships and internal time trials (Summer Sprints and Club Champs 3 @ Spectrum are subject to surcharge usually £10 per swimmer)
• Non-term-time training fees (i.e. summer tick-over sessions), although we usually pause monthly fees in August and the training is optional.
• Land training at Charterhouse for Pre-Comp, Junior and Senior squads is available on Sundays at a cost of c.£10 pcm
