Wey Valley is a friendly club catering for swimmers of all standards, from complete beginners to competitive swimmers. Members are placed in groups according to their ability and are encouraged to swim regularly, both for enjoyment and to keep fit. Swimmers are coached to attain as high a standard as possible and, if they wish, are encouraged to represent the club in competitive galas. Most importantly, it is hoped that all swimmers will develop their skills and benefit from the friendship offered in the club.

Internal competitions are held at least twice a year, including the Club Championships in November.

The club is affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association and members receive information about the club via handouts and notices on boards in addition to the web site.

As the club is run by volunteers, help is always appreciated.
