This scheme has Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels for times at various distances and strokes.

The times are not dependant on age and you are eligible for a badge as soon as you achieve the relevant ASA Competitive Award Time either in Time Trials , Club Championships , swimming for the club team in Galas or by entering Open Meets or a schools gala. The eligible times can also be found on the WV board at Godalming or you can buy a small laminated card, with them printed on, for 50p.

There are two categories of 'round' badge for each level: Sprint for 25m or 50m and 100IM times (no platinum level) or Distance for times at all other distances. For each 'round' badge of the relevant level, five stroke 'flashes' of that level can be earned. Most of the squad swimmers have their badges sewn on to their T- Bags.
