Despite thunder, lightening and torrential rain several brave Wey Valley members represented their school in the 2009/10 Schools Biathlon Qualifier held on at K2, Crawley.

Wey Valley members competing were:

• Year 5 Boys - Harrison Porter coming 10^th= overall and 9^th in the swim.
• Year 5 Girls - Isabelle Hammersley coming 56^th=, out of a large field of 82 girls, and 43^rd in the swim.
• Year 6 Girls - Imogen Harms coming 39^th= out of an even larger field of 109 girls, and 27^th in the swim.
• Year 6 Girls - Hannah Harms coming 60^th= out of the 109 girls, and 38^th in the swim.
• Year 7 Boys - Ben Cheetham coming 45^th overall and 44^th in the swim.
• Year 8 Boys - Mark Tuddenham coming 10^th= overall and 3^rd in the swim.
• Year 8 Girls - Anna Hammersley coming 39^th= overall and 23^rd in the swim.

Well done to them all in what was surely two swimming events in one day!
