Surrey Youth Games 2009 - Swimming event
Date: Sunday 21 June 2009 at Guildford Spectrum
Times: Registration: 1.30 and Competition Start Time: 2.00 (please note that times are subject to change depending on the number of entries)
Events: 50m individual races will be held for each age group and gender in butterfly, freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. Mixed medley relays will also be held for each year group.
We would encourage applications from all swimmers in Wey Valley and any friends in their schools (they do not have to be a member of a swim club), who qualify by:
- age - boys/girls: U10 or U11 (Years 5 & 6)
- have passed a competitive start award - note: this can be assessed beforehand if not currently held.
- having home or school address in Guildford Borough
To apply to be considered for the Guildford Borough team, please provide full name, date of birth, home address, school address and swimming times for 50m for the four strokes, to Jeni Colbourne by filling in and submitting the Surrey Youth Games Entry form for each swimmer. Please ensure, if you apply, that you are available on Sunday 21st June.
