14 swimmers competed in a total of 30 individual swims, of which 21 were personal bests.
29 swimmers made up a total of 10 relay teams and 8 of those teams achieved times faster than predicted.
Particular mention should go to the following swimmers who finished in the top ten in the county in their age group in these events:
- Ailie Groom - 10th in 50 back & 7th in 50m breast
- Alice Walker-Earwicker - 8th in 50m breast
- Rachel Cawthorn - 6th in 100 free
- Edward Chapman - 10th in 200 IM
- Oliver Goodlud - 10th in 200 breast
- Luke Edwards - 10th in 100 IM
The 9-11 girls team of Liz Bell, Harriet Burke, Rebecca Sandwith and Ailie Groom knocked a massive
19 seconds off their predicted time for the 4 x 50m freestyle relay, finishing 10th out
of 30 Surrey teams.
The 12-13 girls team of Samantha Tuddenham, Alice Walker-Earwicker, Emily Whall and Lara Davison
also saw a great improvement on the predicted entry time and finished well within the top half
of teams for the 4 x 50m medley relay.
The 12-13 boys team of Calum Toone, Connor Freeman, Oliver Goodlud and Joshua Taylor-Rose also cut
their finish time down by 15 seconds for the 4 x 50m medley relay.
