Wey Valley Swimming Club

Results of round 1 of the 2012 Minor League held at Basingstoke have been added to the Minor League page.

Invitation to the Sun 24th June 2012 Summer Sprints for Wey Valley swimmers in: Pre Comp, Junior, Senior and Masters squads (a separate time trial event will be run on Sat 23rd June for the teaching groups and junior fitness).

All swimmers in Pre Comp, Junior, Senior and Masters should submit an online form to indicate which events they wish to compete in or if they are unable to attend by latest 15th June. More details on the Summer Sprints event and the entry list can be found on the Club Champs page.

Details of: Woking Octopus (20th May), Cranleigh Summer (10th June) and Godalming ( 1st July) Open Meets have been added to the Open Meets page.

Senior Squad Time Trials will be held during the training sessions on Tuesday 28th Feb and Thursday 1st March.

Swims will be judged under ASA rules so times will count as PBs but there will be DQ's for incorrect strokes, turns etc. Times will not be eligible for Club Records.

Prices for the ASA Competitive Swimming Performance badges have increased 80p each due to an uplift in the charges from the ASA. These badges are a fantastic way to recognise your childs Personal Best progress as they are not dependant on age and the swimmer is eligible as soon as they achieve the relevant ASA Competitive Award Time.
